I gave myself one of the hardest briefs I could think of.
No client. No budget. No brief. Just a blank page and one question — if I could create for any brand in the world, which one would push me the furthest?
Van Cleef & Arpels.
A Maison that has been turning jewellery into mythology since 1906. Every piece tells a story. Every collection carries a feeling you can't quite name — but recognise instantly.
That's the kind of brand that doesn't let you be lazy. You either show up fully or you don't show up at all.
So I showed up.
Three collections. Three concepts. Three creative briefs. Each one pushing past the first instinct. Each one asking — is this true to the brand, or just true to what's safe?
This is what happened when I stopped waiting for permission to create.
